Lance E. Adams, DVM, Diplomate ABVP Canine and Feline Specialty, Practice Owner
Dr. Lance Adams Dr. Adams graduated from Michigan State University with a B.SCI. with Honor (1969), and a DVM with High Honor (1970). In 1982 Dr. Adams was awarded American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) Diplomate status.

Dr. Adams worked at Pearce Veterinary Hospital in Southfield, MI. (1971 -- 1974), Plaza Veterinary Hospital in Farmington, MI (1974 -- 1975). Suburban Veterinary Hospital in Hazel Park, MI (1976), and Westcott Veterinary Hospital Emergency Room in Detroit, MI (1977), before building and establishing Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates, Inc. in Beverly Hills, MI (1977). Besides managing the practice, his other professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and ultrasonography. Dr. Adams attends a minimum of 80 hours continuing education per year on various subjects at local, national, and international meetings.

Dr. Adams is a member of several professional organizations including but not limited to: American Veterinary Medical Association, Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, Southeast Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, Society of Aquatic Veterinary Medicine, and Veterinary Cancer Society.

Dr. Adams has two children, Evan and Reid, and lives with a menagerie of pets including a yellow lab (Woodie), two cats (Carleton and Ricky) a ferret, a large Python, five turtles, a Lady Amherst Pheasant, and two fish tanks.

Dr. Adams's other interests are boating, fishing, SCUBA diving, photography, wildlife, and travel to Florida. As far as sports go, he loves going to Red Wing games and watching his favorite football teams (MSU, Detroit Lions, and Tampa Bay Bucs).


Kathryn T. Christy, DVM
Dr. Christy Dr. Christy received a BS in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1989 and then graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.  She worked at Green Bay Animal Hospital in Wilmette, Illinois for 7 years before moving back to Michigan in 1998.  Dr. Christy has worked at Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates since returning to Michigan.  Her interests include Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Dermatology and Dentistry. 

Dr. Christy attends approximately 50 hours of Continuing Education yearly.  She has attended professional seminars in Florida, Colorado, Boston, Las Vegas, and Michigan.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, the Southeast Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Christy lives with her husband John, three children, Danny, Nick and Katelyn, dogs Axel and Star, a cat Wes, 2 guinea pigs and many fish.  Besides spending time with her family and friends, Dr. Christy’s interests include cooking, gardening, biking and being outdoors.


Kevin B. Windsor, DVM
Dr. Kevin Windsor Dr. Windsor earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science, with honors, from Texas A & M University in 1992. He then obtained a degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. In 1998, he completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Washington State University. He then returned to Michigan, where he served as a relief veterinarian, specializing in emergency and general medicine, at various Metro Detroit area veterinary hospitals. In 2000, he joined Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates, Inc.

Dr. Windsor's special interests include ophthalmology, surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine, including ultrasound. He attends approximately 50 hours of continuing education per year. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, The Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association where he is President Elect, the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, and the American Animal Hospital Association. He passes his free time with running, golf, photography and cooking. He lives with his wife, Sondra, his daughter, Mallory, son Matthew, and a Heinz 57 named Magglio Ordonez.


Technicians
Michelle Jones Michelle Jones, Licensed Veterinary Technician (Since 1993)
Michelle graduated from Michigan State University with a certificate in Veterinary Technology in 1987, and has been on staff with Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates, Inc. since April of 1993. She resides in Dryden with husband Ted and their pets, Curly, Tater Tot, Stimpy, (not pictured) Buzz, Kayla, and Kalvin. Michelle also teaches water aerobics.


Andrea Campion, Licensed Veterinary Technician (Since 1998)
Andrea began working with Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates, Inc. in 1998 as an intern, and assumed a full-time position after graduating from Macomb Community College with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She lives with her cat named Fancy.


Receptionists
Shirley BakerShirley Baker (Since 1976)

Shirley has been on staff with Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates, Inc. since its opening day in 1977, and, in addition to receptionist duties, aids with many types of veterinary tasks and dentistry. She has attended seminars in a wide variety of veterinary topics. A position on a horse farm gave her an introduction to animal care. Her attraction to dogs led her to ownership of Dobermans, Boxers, Pointers, and German Shorthaired Pointers, all of which she has trained and shown in Conformation and Obedience. She has been an obedience instructor for over 20 years, and is an all-breed conformation handler. Shirley enjoys raising puppies, and participating in horse-related activities.


Trisha Mysliwski (Since 2000)
Trisha Spaw Trisha has been at the reception desk at Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates Inc. since 2000. She has a Morkie, Polly and a DSH Cat Jolene. She enjoys running, shopping, and helping animals.


Accounting/Administrative Assistant/Computer
Diane Wydick, Accounting, Computer Maintenance, Administrative Assistance (Since 1978)

Diane WydickDiane was educated at Walsh College of Accountancy, and is a specialist in small business bookkeeping. She joined the team of Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates, Inc. in 1978, and has since expanded her aptitude to include computer hardware and software maintenance with special emphasis on graphic arts and forms generation, and a variety of administrative skills. Over the years, she has shared her home with a diversity of critters, including Dobermans and a Manchester Terrier, which she shows and trains. Birds are also of special interest. Diane also enjoys music, distance bicycling, photography, gardening & home remodeling, various crafts, and spending time with family & friends.


Support Staff
Crystal Castleman (Since 2001)

Crystal is a Veterinary Assistant, studying for her LVT. She helps with veterinary and kennel tasks, and is knowledgeable of wildlife, especially raccoons, squirrels and rabbits. She lives in Royal Oak with Rottweiler, Maximus, and three cats, Bug, Hef, and Mater.  She fosters a wide variety of animals.  Outside of work she enjoys gardening, cooking, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
