Spring creates ideal conditions for Giardia to spread. Melting snow, frequent rain, and runoff concentrate contamination along lake edges and low-lying areas. As dogs return to outdoor adventures, the risk increases, particularly near popular shoreline paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
