But thanks to technical difficulties and distractions, it\u2019s rare to snap the perfect picture the first time around (if ever!). So what\u2019s the trick to accomplishing this nearly impossible feat?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Understanding the Basics&#8230;<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before we get started, understand that your pet\u2019s interest in your photograph is nil. While he or she may be a good sport, it\u2019s important not to force a picture-perfect pose on him or her. Keep an eye out for any signals that your pet has better things to do, and allow the moment to pass. Who knows? However, as we mentioned earlier, it\u2019s important to keep your pet happy. If he or she doesn\u2019t want to give in to the moment, let it go. Alternatively, meet your pet on his or her level. Take the selfie where your <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.beverlyhillsvets.com\/pet-care\/puppy-kitten-wellness.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">puppy or kitten<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (or <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.beverlyhillsvets.com\/pet-care\/adult-pet-care.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">grown pet<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) already is, and keep the following in mind:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Treats can go a long way to achieving a dream pet selfie.
