If you haven\u2019t microchipped your pet, now is a good time to do so since this simple step can make an incredible difference in reuniting your lost pet with you.<\/span><\/p>\n If possible gather as many friends and family members together to search the neighborhood and surrounding areas while you are making important calls and social media postings.<\/span><\/p>\n Next, contact your local police precinct and animal control to file a missing pet report. If you are in the Beverly Hills area, you may also wish to contact the Michigan Humane Society or create an online missing pet alert.<\/span><\/p>\n Other steps to take include:<\/span><\/p>\n Along with keeping your pet\u2019s photo and information fresh in people\u2019s minds and remaining vigilant about making those shelter calls each day, it\u2019s also a good idea to offer a reward.
