Offering Compassion & Support
for End-of-Life Care and Pet Loss

pet loss

When your pet dies, every member of the family experiences a loss that leaves an empty space in your life. The grief you feel at this loss can be surprising and mystifying.

The staff at Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates understands your loss. We offer supportive services to provide information, a place to share, and the opportunity to celebrate the life of your special pet.

Hospice & Euthanasia Services

Pet owners know that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is difficult, but trying to decide when it is time to say goodbye can be a greater struggle. At some point, euthanasia may be the only way to prevent an animal from suffering. However, the decision regarding euthanasia is fraught with medical, financial, ethical, religious, moral, and sometimes legal considerations. Euthanasia is a medical procedure that should be discussed and considered thoroughly before making a final decision.

Our compassionate, caring professionals support you through this painful experience. We offer hospice services that ensure your pet’s comfort and dignity during those last days and final moments.

If you have special requests or questions about care of your pet’s remains, our experienced team is available to inform and guide you. We make every effort to accommodate your wishes at this difficult time.

Our hospice and humane euthanasia services are conducted with respect, compassion, and care. Before you struggle through one more day with a sick, elderly, or terminally ill pet, call Beverly Hills Veterinary Associates.

Pet Loss Library
Our pet loss library is a valuable resource for those who have lost an animal companion, as well as those who are anticipating the death of an aging or ill pet.  Find answers to frequently asked questions about grieving before and after the death of a pet, read stories about other pets and their owners, and share your stories with others. The library can be shared with the entire family and is intended as a tool to aid in the process of healing.
Light a Candle
Our pet owners are encouraged to light a virtual candle in memory of your deceased pet.
